Eurasian International Energy Conference
Oil and gas producing countries in the Caspian basin and Central Asia region have experienced rapid economic growth over the last decade under relatively high energy prices, while suffering from highly volatile global energy prices. These countries have rich hydrocarbon, hydro, renewable and alternative energy resources and geopolitical advantages. There are issues with rational use and effective management of these energy resources. Playing an important role for Europe's energy security, the efficient use of investment and innovative opportunities in the energy sector of these countries and the formation of a regional energy market are among the most crucial issues.
To address the energy challenges in Eurasia region, Bogazici University and Azerbajian Technical University have started conducting a series of Eurasian conferences. The Eurasian International Energy Conference on the topic of the “The Dynamic Energy Landscape in Eurasia: Global Threats to Energy Security, Regional Challenges and Opportunities” will be held on 20-22 October, 2022 in Baku, Azerbaijan. We believe that the conference will enhance the understanding on current developments in Eurasia and increase the collaboration and alignment on energy outlook in post-pandemic era.
